Nice weekend... [Oct. 21st, 2000|01:46 pm]

Of course, for most of you, the weekend is just starting. Mine's just finished...As planned, I spent Friday morning riding the bus to see Megan. I ended up being about 15 minutes late from when I told her I would be there, due to missing one of the bus connections (the directions on where the actual bus stop is are almost always horrible. And when you only have 4-6 minutes between when you're dropped off and when the next bus is supposed to arrive, missing one is easy to do...). But, I partially factored that in to when I told her to meet me there, so it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

From there, we went back to her house. I met her parents, who probably know Megan and I are dating (I guess that's what you would call it right now. We're not boyfriend and girlfriend yet, but when we're alone, or around people we're comfortable with, we're very familiar with each other (i.e. hold hands, arms around each other, leaning against each other, that sort of thing)), although we didn't say anything, nor were we familiar towards each other while the parental units were around. But, they still probably figured it out...

On a kind of stream of conciousness note, since this happened much later in the day, Megan's dad very much surprised Megan by asking her if I was interested in spending the night there that night. I think he thought I was headed back on a late bus, and wanted me to have the option of heading back Saturday morning. Megan was practically in shock when her dad suggested this. The only guy ever invited to spend the night before that was Don (who we're about to get to)...

Anyways, after working on Megan's statistics homework (the "reason" I was out there...), and eating lunch, Megan and I went to go pick up Don, the gay friend of hers who had mistakenly hit on me the night before... :) The three of us went shopping at the mall. Although we were primarily there for Megan to get more clothes for work, once she was done, I quickly recruited Don to help me out briefly getting some more clothes for myself as well. Man cannot live by comic book shirts, alone...

We dropped Don back off at home, and then went back to Megan's house. I'm thinking this post is getting into the longish range, so this is going to be another "two-post" tale. See you in a few...
