|Would a Thorn by any other name still sound as Sweet?

|||||I Can't Remember-The Thorns-The Thorns||]|
Just got back from The Thorns concert. In case you missed it, this is Matthew Sweet's side project with Shawn Mullins and Pete Droge.
One word, four syllables: In-cred-i-ble...
It was their first live performance with a full band (they've done some promo gigs with just the three of them), other than their one song last night on The Tonight Show. The whole band was in top form, and the guys were all loving every minute of it. They had so much fun together, it's obvious that they love what they're doing. And the music is just awesome. The three of them have very similar voices, but are just different enough that their harmonies sound almost angelic. I especially recommend "I Can't Remember" and "Among the Living." Go take a listen. If you like bands with good harmonies, like CSN, The Byrds, Fleetwood Mac, or Venice, I'm nearly positive you'll love The Thorns.
