|Friday, around five...

No real reason to lj-cut this, since the only thing I'm posting is the Friday Five, so here we go...
1) is your hair naturally curly, wavy, or straight? long or short?
Um...Well, you can look up and see. It's long and straight, parted right down the middle. And that's all natural, baby!
2) how has your hair changed over your lifetime?
Well, when I was in elementary and middle school, it was short and parted on the side. When I hit high school is when I finally decided to get a style of my own, as opposed to just keeping the same cut I had had all those years. The first thing I tried was a flattop (If I remember correctly, I actually told the woman at Fantastic Sam's that I wanted it cut like Arnold Schwarzenager (sp?). Boy, did I not look like Arnold...). After the flattop disaster, I went the other route and grew it long. This took surprisingly little time. When it grew long is when I started parting it in the middle, and now it refuses to part anywhere else...I've cut it back down a few times, but it always comes back to the current style you see in my userpic. Oh, and once, I had blue spiky hair for a student film I was in. Unfortunately, I have no pictures of that available (and the website devoted to the film is gone), or else I'd post them...
3) how do your normally wear your hair?
I've taken to putting it in a ponytail at work, on the request of my boss. In my eyes, that makes it look more messy, since individual hairs tend to wander off in various directions, and that looks worse when you definitely have a plan for where they were supposed to go.
4) if you could change your hair this minute, what would it look like?
If I could do so while keeping this job, I'd dye my hair purple. I'd probably cut it a little shorter when I did that, but not a huge amount. And unlike the student film I was in, I wouldn't bleach my hair, then dye it; I'd just dye it over it's natural color.
5) ever had a hair disaster? what happened?
See question 2. The flattop...It just doesn't work for me. Hopefully, when the baldness eventually takes over (as I have a feeling it will one day), I'll have the right head shape for it, but until then, keeping it long...
