Electorate-wise, so far, we have an exact replica of what happened in 2000. Not one state has switched from where they were four years ago. I'll be very interested to see what few states (if any) do change. I'm guessing that those that do will be the ones that have the most legal contention afterwards. Especially if they switch towards Kerry...

Who, me cynical?

I'm Dan Rydell, alongside Casey McCall, and you're watching...

They're the lead characters from one of my favorite shows of all time, Sports Night. You know how little I care about sports, so the fact that I love this show should tell you that you don't have to be a sports fan to enjoy it. Much as you don't have to be into politics to enjoy West Wing. (Sports Night and West Wing were both created by the same person, so it's a pretty good analogy...

I own the DVD set if you ever want to borrow it. Although, speaking of borrowing stuff, did you accidentally leave "Relentless" in a CD player when you returned the case to me?

Well, to say that I'm not a sports fan is a gross understatement, so I probably wouldn't like it just for having anything to do with sports. Thanks for the offer, though. I'll consider it.

Is "Relentless" that comedy CD you loaned me? The one I gave back because I'd had it for a couple of months and knew I'd never actually sit down and listen to it? If so, I'll take a look around for it. I know it's not in my stereo, my car's CD player, or either of my computers, and since I never actually listened to it, it's doubtful I ever took it out of the case. But you never know.

And if "Relentless" isn't that comedy CD you loaned me...I don't know what you're talking about.

I'm the same way about almost all sports. Really, it's just the framework for the show. The characters and dialogue are the important parts...But, I'll leave it at that.

Yeah, "Relentless" is the Bill Hicks CD I lent you. I went to play it for someone else, and when I opened the case, I discovered there was no actual CD inside, and since you were the only person I've loaned it to, you were my first thought as to where it would be. If you find it, let me know, but no pressure or rush or anything...

That's good, because with my room the way it is, it could be a very long time before I find it. That's assuming it's in my room. I honestly don't remember taking it out of it's case. I know I didn't listen to it. But I'll look anyways.
