Well, this should speed things up a little... [Oct. 5th, 2000|06:11 pm]

I'm sitting here waiting for my friend to show up and take me out to Court (if you're not sure what Court is, check out the entry titled "A little back story." That should get you up to speed.) He's about an hour late from when he told me he'd be here, so I thought I'd do a quick post, since getting absorbed in something like this pretty much guarantees he'll show up. So far, he's the only friend in that group that I've told about this site, so I'm not worried about him asking me "What's that?" if he shows up.

Not much going on today. Woke up fairly late (around noon), took a shower, then headed to the comic book store to feed the addiction. If you're not picking up Ultimate Spider-Man, please go out and do so. It's a wonderful modernization of the Spider-Man mythos, for those who like the character, but don't want to deal with the almost 40 years of backstory. Read most of my comics (not all, some I wasn't in the mood for right now. I'll check them out when I get back on Friday...Assuming I find someone willing to give me a ride home Friday...I really put my faith in my friends when I do this...)

Looking forward to seeing Megan again tonight. She's got more stats homework to deal with, so once again, it's "Kurt to the rescue!" :) Statistics isn't exactly my best subject, but once I read her book, and remind myself of it, most of it comes back...

Oh, one last thing. I was supposed to start an A+ certification class next Thursday. Turns out it was postponed by a week, so where I had been telling people this would be my last day in Court for a month, turns out next week will be. Surprise! This works out well, because it allows me to actually set up my leaving, and make it in character, as well as out of character.

Well, Erik finally arrived. Got to go!
