It's been a while, hasn't it? [Jan. 21st, 2001|04:45 pm]
Kurt Onstad
I've been kept very busy lately, both at work and at home, and I apologize to all of my readers...I think everyone except for seonsaint bugged me about updating at least once.

So, let's see what has happened since I last left you. Not much, actually. Things are still going great with Riki (as far as I know, she still hasn't read any of the journal yet, though...But I'm sure she will soon.). I love her, she loves me. We're making everyone around us sick, I'm sure... :) (Well, except Mike and Nancy. They're almost as happy about me and Riki as I am, it seems.) The hardest part of our relationship right now is the fact that we don't see each other as much as we both want to. It's hard going 4-5 days without her there, so when we do get together, we spend nearly every minute next to each other.

In work news, we're all moving to a new location. It's a couple of miles down the street, and once I drive again, it will be even closer than where I am right now. But, since I'm still on the bus, it takes pretty much the same amount of time to get to work, and it might actually take longer to get home, depending on exactly when I get off of work (which can vary, depending on what my last chat or phone call is like).

Well, that's about it for me. I apologize for the three week gap with no entries. I will definitely try to avoid that in the future. But, with less indecision in my life (especially my love life), there's less reason for me to come here seeking the advice that I did. I guess Self was right a long time ago when he said, "People don't write when they're happy."

Is very happy

We guess that Lucy was the person who added "Yay!" Lucy is the old alias for Riki. I also refer to Abner, which is Erik's old alias. Oh, and a year and a half later, we're still using NT 4 here at work (see my comment down at the very end).

Hmm...

Now, is this person saying "Yaay!" because I'm happy, or because I finally posted again?

Come on, you anonymous people...Give me some sort of hint who you are...

Kurt Onstad
is really curious...

Re: Hmm...

Come on, who do we know that says 'Yaay!' constantly? One guess...

No not me, DorK!

Arrrgh!

Huh?

Not sure who you mean. I spell it differently, and I never post anonymously.

So, who else is known for that?

Kermit the Frog used to say it every night as he flailed his arms uncontrollably and sidestepped off the stage.

...but I don't think it was Kermit.

No, let's play detective. An anonymous post could mean they want to hide their identity, or it could mean that they don't have a LiveJournal account. The comment wasn't embarassing or negative in any way, so I'm going to say it's the latter.

Aww, hell with it. Let's go out on a limb, shall we?
    Hi, Lucy!
That's my guess. Any others?

Re: Huh?

Actually, my guess is that it's either Eclipse or Abner. Both showed interest in me updating, and while Abner has a Livejournal, he's never used it. I don't think Lucy has read this far yet, but I could be wrong...

Re: Huh?

"this far" is hard to judge. We're talking about the first message which comes up on your page, visible before she's able to find the Calendar link to jump back. Whatever your top entry is, I'd count on her reading it.

Re: Huh?

It wasn't self...

Damn, I'm losing my grip on things... hmmm.

Get with the times...

Nobody uses NT anymore. It's all Win2000 now.

Re: Get with the times...

Actually, here at work, with our stations just set up a month or two ago, we're all on NT 4.
