Fun with questionaires... [Jul. 16th, 2001|01:45 am]
Kurt Onstad
Got this link from geekmama, and decided to test my faith. Turned out pretty close to how I thought it would, although with a couple of surprises:

<td> </td>
1. Unitarian Universalism (100%)
2. Liberal Quaker (92%)
3. Secular Humanism (88%)
4. Liberal Protestant (88%)
5. Theravada Buddhism (79%)
6. Neo-Paganism (77%)
7. Bahá'í (75%)
8. Atheism and Agnosticism (69%)
9. Mahayana Buddhism (61%)
10. New Age (60%)
11. Orthodox Quaker (59%)
12. Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (55%)
13. Latter-day Saint (Mormon) (54%)
14. Reform Judaism (54%)
15. Taoism (53%)
16. Jainism (52%)
17. Conservative Protestant (49%)
18. New Thought (44%)
19. Jehovah's Witness (43%)
20. Sikhism (43%)
21. Orthodox Judaism (40%)
22. Scientology (36%)
23. Islam (35%)
24. Hinduism (33%)
25. Seventh Day Adventist (31%)
26. Eastern Orthodox (20%)
27. Roman Catholic (20%)

Hadn't heard of Unitarian Universalism before this, so wasn't aware of it, and also didn't know how including "Liberal Quaker" was in their beliefs. I think if I had to choose to be in an organized religion, the Quakers are the ones who I would mesh best with. And the best reason for going to this page, I finally have a link to send people to when they ask me what a "Secular Humanist" is, since that is how I personally classify myself.

Secular Humanist

The closest it found was Secular Humanist, which, when reading the description is only about half right.

Oh well...
