No human contact... [Mar. 24th, 2002|03:13 pm]
Kurt Onstad
Ever have one of those days where you try to find out how long you can go without actually saying anything outloud? I'm in that kind of mood at the moment, but probably a lot of that is due to the fact that I don't enjoy talking to most of my co-workers...

I found out the last day I was at work that headphones and music are kind of allowed. If someone tells us to stop, we have to, but we won't get punished. Okay...So, I brought in my headphones and a few CDs. But, by the time I remembered the new policy, I was already sitting at a station with no CD drive...Oops. Maybe tomorrow.

Changing subjects...Argh! I have a customer who keeps asking new questions before I get a chance to answer their last one...How do you deal with that?

That happens to me all the time...why ask me the question if you don't listen to the answer? When I realize I'm in one of those situations, I don't put much effort into the answers I'm giving the customer, and hope he/she goes away soon.

completely unrelated

You've got maybe two minutes until these are all gone.

...and that's why you should never log off of instant messenger.
