Work is being dicks again...
"AOL Instant Messenger, MSN, IRC, etc. are not to be opened while online and logged into eShare [our chat program]."

So, no more AIM conversations at work. However, I have my good email address that only my friends are aware of. No spam allowed...Most of you should know what that is already, but one person I do like chatting with a lot isn't aware of it yet that I know of. To prevent any bots from harvesting it...Here's how to figure it out. Take my AIM name, which is in my profile (all one word, no spaces), then put an @ symbol, then put the name of the group I hang out with every Thursday night (they're mentioned all over this journal, and it's the only interest listed in my profile that currently doesn't have anyone else interested in it...), and finally, .org

If it's between 11:30am and 8:00pm Sun-Wed., or between 11:00am and 7:30pm on Thursday, I'm most likely at work and bored out of my skull. As technomonkey can attest, I can, and would love to, converse in near-realtime through email. Please drop me a line.

Used far too many commas in that entry...

So how's that job search coming along?

Slow, but this is kind of an incentive to speed that up...

I say "kind of," because really, how often do you find a job that lets you listen to music all day and check your email and such while working? If it weren't for the commute (which I put on myself), and the constant changing of the rules, this would be an ideal work environment...

...But consistent

Depends how often you look for a chat tech support job. Did you ever get the temp agency info from Jen? If so, have you registered with them?

Doing those things will dramatically increase your possibility of getting a call... And once you get calls, you can start screening them...

Registered with one, not the other yet. Something to do this coming up Friday...
