And speaking of things that I haven't seen in a while... [Jun. 24th, 2002|06:14 pm]

For some reason, this movie came to mind that I haven't seen in ages while I was eating lunch, but I can't remember the name of it. Here's the basic plot. There's a cop, who due to being near a rocket explosion of some sort, gains superpowers. The guy's pretty much indestructible, except when he sees the color red. It's a cheesy late 70s/early 80s action-comedy, but it's just a lot of fun. It's much more Greatest American Hero than Superman...I'm sure I could find it if I looked on The Internet Movie Database, but I'm curious to see if anyone here can come up with it off the top of their head. It's one of those movies I used to see a lot on KTLA, but they don't show anymore...

Friday Morning, during my shift with Mike D, I was wondering if any of my friends had seen that movie! It was called Superfuzz. I remember going to the la mirada theater (when the la mirada mall was still open) and seeing that movie with mom and dad and 'nita.
Can't rememeber who was in it, but I remember the guy's girlfriend dying her hair red on their wedding day without telling him. That was funny!

Cool! I wonder if it's out on DVD...

Superfuzz! That's right! My mind said "Supercop," but I knew that was wrong. Really close, though.

Don't know who played the lead without checking IMDB, but Ernest Borginine was the Superfuzz's partner...
