Should be an interesting weekend [Jul. 18th, 2002|03:56 pm]

Today's my Friday, as most of you know. Tonight, I have AOKP. And Joel is back for the first time in a long time. Yay! Then, tomorrow morning, I get my elbow checked out. The pain there tends to come and go. As of today, it hasn't bothered me in a week or two. I almost wish it was hurting now, so that 1) I could be able to describe it in as much detail as possible and 2) I won't be as paranoid about them not finding anything, then a week later having the pain show up again...

After the doctor's appointment, I need to go get my paycheck from work (that should pull me out of my cash shortage I've been running into this month), then go to the comic book store (and that should pull me back in. Okay, probably not that bad, but it is time for me to pay for September's comics...)

Saturday, I go out to Ventura, and see people that I haven't seen for ten years. That's right, it's finally High School Reunion time. I've prepared myself by watching Gross Pointe Blank twice in the past month. (If you haven't seen this movie, stop reading now, go rent it, and watch it. Then come back...I can wait...)

Hopefully, I'll get through it just fine and be able to come back and tell you, "It was just as if everybody had swelled."
More likely though, I'll end up being the guy going "Hey Jenny Slater. Hey Jenny Slater. Hey Jenny Slater."

How can someone feel so young and feel so old all at the same time?

Ah, hell with it. I'll make sense of my schedule somehow. Gimme a call when you get to town. I'll probably be confined to quarters until Dad's system works, but that just assures I'm around to answer the phone.
