Just a quick note before I collapse into bed... [Sep. 6th, 2002|01:27 am]
Kurt Onstad
I'm reviewing comics again. I have done so twice in the past in the rec.arts.comics heirarchy of the Usenet newsgroups. But, recently, I found a website that was looking for regular comic reviewers, and I volunteered my services to get myself writing again on a regular basis (Outside of my rantings on my life that I release here...)

Feel free to go check them out. So far, I only have one review up, but I should be increasing that amount by at least one a week in the future.

The site in question is GonkDroid.com. It used to be a Star Wars fan site and is expanding into a general geek/pop culture fan site, including Comics, Games, Movies, and such...

You need a logo, son, a logo! All the big time reviewers have 'em, see? You got an opinion, sure, but the kids need to know it! Whyn't ya put the squeeze one of those lazy artist pals o' yers?

My only critique of your critique would be that in the sentence "Brian smartly starts out the series getting to know the major players of the series a little bit before the plague (or whatever it is) hits..." I was momentarily confused into thinking that Brian was the name of one of the characters. But for the rest of the review you call him Vaughn, so

I'm looking forward to more!

gonk

Won't let me read anything without logging in.

Not willing to create an account.

If you post copies of your reviews here (perhaps behind an lj-cut in posts announcing that new stuff is available over there?), I'll read 'em.

No account creation necessary

You can't read the Forums without creating an account and logging in, but actually reading the review I've written requires no account. Just click on the "Comics" under "Zones" and my review should be listed there. Click on "Tell Me More"
